Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape the culture of Oyster Bay Public School. They give students opportunities to build confidence, connect with their peers and celebrate their progress. Our events also welcome families into our school community so they can share in their child’s achievements and be part of school life.

Our school events may include:

• orientation days that welcome new families to our nurturing K to 2 site

• sports carnivals and gala days where students proudly represent their houses

• open day and school tours across both campuses

• Harmony Week and Book Week celebrations that highlight our inclusive school culture

• excursions and incursions that enrich units of work and deepen real-world learning

• performances, concerts and school productions featuring our choir and dance groups

• community events such as the long-running Oyster Bay Art and Craft Festival

• Celebration of Learning assemblies that showcase growth across each term

• Year 6 Farewell and other milestone celebrations that mark important achievements
