Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board!

Oyster Bay Art and Craft Festival

What's Happening - Oyster Bay Art and Craft Festival

The inaugural Oyster Bay Art and Craft Festival was held in 1970. Today, it is the largest event of its kind in the southern part of Sydney and has become a proud tradition of our school community. Each year, thousands of dollars in fundraising goes directly into classrooms and school programs, providing high-quality educational resources that benefit every student.

The success of the festival is made possible by the outstanding support of our parents and the wider Oyster Bay community. Staff, students and families work together for months to plan the event, which is renowned for its excellent organisation, high-quality exhibits and fun playground activities for children.

The festival opens on Friday night with an exciting program that includes an auction, entertainment and the presentation of art and craft awards. The weekend continues with a wide range of stalls, rides and games, live entertainment, and performances by our school bands, choirs and dance groups.

After more than five decades, the last weekend in May remains a highlight of the year. Our students look forward to it with great excitement, and our school continues to be grateful for the dedication, enthusiasm and community spirit that make the festival possible.
